Sri Tyagaraja Sangeetha Sabha was founded way back in April 1980 by the then Junior Lecturer in Mathes and Mridangam Artist Sri ARK Haranath Babu as secretary, Sri JVS Prakash Rao as President and several music lovers as members. With the benevolent donations of people in and around of Ramachandrapuram.Classical,light music concerts used to be arranged during Ganesh Chaturdhi, Dasara and pongal to uphold our cultural heritage. Stalwarts like Dr Mangalmpalli Bala Murali Krishna ,Padmasri Emani Sankara Sastry,Sri Chitti Babu,Sri Kadiri Gopalanath,Mandolin U Srinivas, Sri MS Rama Rao etc participated in our sabha to encourage the beginners.
